DunDraCon: Who's going?

Love this Con have been going for over 20 years .
Will be there on Friday and Sat .
Yea avoid pregen. character games like the plague, they take all the individuality and value out of the character .

I'm going to try to make it over for Saturday and maybe Sunday. I went last year and had fun. I had a hard time getting into games last year. Hopefully this year will be different. I need to get my Battletech fix.

I'm bumping this thread to keep the DunDraCon posts going on this one instead of the upstart I just bumped with a link here. Pat yourself on the back if you understood that! :D

I've made this offer in the various Gameday threads, and since it appears that they are still allowing DMs to sign on for DunDraCon XXVI I'll make it here as well. Crothian had a good time running The Whispering Woodwind at the Ohio Gameday, and his players had a blast.

It appears that they have 28 D&D3E/d20 adventures being run for the convention. The Whispering Woodwind is scalable for levels from 1-4. They only have a handful of adventures that fall in the range of those levels currently on the DunDraCon schedule at this time. This may be an ideal opportunity for someone who has wanted to DM at a Con but hasn't taken the plunge as of yet. It might also be good for someone who would like to run a game but doesn't have the time to write up their own adventure.

If someone is interested in using this d20 adventure for DunDraCon XXVI, please contact me by Email and I'll make the arrangements. :)

Thanks in advance. :)

DDC

I'll be there this year.....been there just about every year since 85.

Here is the info for the game I'm running......
603 Lady Theresa's Request

GM: Frank Vicari
Sunday 2:00 PM in room 170 for 12 hours
System: D&D 3e.
Power Level: 3rd-5th
Type: RPG
Players must provide own characters
Variations:

Lady Theresa's brother is missing. There are rumors of an ancient prophecy of evil. Can you locate him before time runs out?

I'm running one of the first modules I wrote for my own campaign world, Lyrlusa.

Also, I've noticed a minimal presence of the RPGA and I've also noticed that there are only four 12 hour games this year. Usually there are alot more.

EDIT - Personally I prefer brining my own characters to the game rather than running ones the DM generates. Yes that usually means that the characters provided have all the skills, magic items, vitamins, and minerals a party needs to survive, but it tends to take away the roleplaying fun from having a bunch of unique personalities coming together for no reason whatsoever other than a run.
