Dungeon #114 is available

Holy crap - the adventure path goes for another two more adventures beyond "Thirteen Cages" Yoiks.

And Dungeon #115 looks quite good, with a Wolfgang Baur and a Christopher Perkins adventure. (Don't care about Keith Baker and Eberron - hopefully Dungeon gives some guidelines on adapting the Eberron adventure with warforged to a more "core" setting.)

Erik Mona, if you're reading this, we Realms fans would reeaally appreciate a high-res download of an unlabelled version of #113's Marsember map, for general play use and to annotate with the labels you didn't fit onto the published map.

thalmin, if you're still holding #112 for me, i'll be honest - i have no idea when i'll be able to make it up to the 'burbs.

I'll see what I can do. My art staff is currently at Comic Con, so it may take a week or two.

Why? Don't cross the streams...keep "core" (whatever that is...is it
Greyhawk?) as core, and Eberron as Eberron. It should be up to the DM
to convert if they want to run a module. Plus, Eberron has so many
setting-specific things as the convert would gut the module, and probably
the plot.

Keep a smatting of "Core", Realms, Eberron, and what have you...everyone's
have, and we have a sampling of everything. :)

Whoa whoa whoa... easy does it. I'm not saying to never include an Eberron adventure in Dungeon (though, personally, that would be what I would prefer - but I'm quite aware that this could be considered unrealistic). I'm also not even asking to dilute the base Eberron adventure so that it loses what makes it "Eberron".

But I am certainly asking Dungeon staff to consider a sidebar that gives a good detailing on how to convert and place an Eberron adventure into a more "core" (ie. without things like warforged - the major offender) setting. Dungeon has a very good history of always having very adaptable adventures throughout it's 114-issue run, with only a very few rare blips (the extremely rare Dark Sun and Spelljammer adventure), and I'd hate to lose that (since I have a niggling doubt that Eberron adventures will be "extremely rare").

I don't think a sidebar is unrealistic (especially considering that they seem to be willing to include one for a bunch of "miniatures suggestions" nonsense). I think a policy of "most utility for the most people" would be wise, hmmm?

Lassiviren the Dark, Ruthless Assassin by Robert J Schwalb. A Critical Threat NPC.

Oh my God!!!

I never thought he would make another appearance. Lassiviren is a legend with my friends and I. He has been the iconic assassin for me ever since I first saw him in Rogues Gallery waaaaaaaaaay back when I first started playing AD&D. This is SO freaking amazing to see him make a return.

Yay! Dungeon!!!

sounds like this plus the maure castle issue are fantastic! two out of three at that high a level would mean Id never need to buy a wotc product again

Eric is a Lassiviren Fan? Who'da thunk it? :)

I liked that character, myself - neat idea with the rings being on charm bracelets. :) My fave was Erol Otus' Swashbucker character. I hope to see him return, sometime in a Critical Threat. Sadly, I can remember everything but his name... :( Remembering Bigby, Lassiviren, Luther, Phoebus, but not the Swashbuckler really bugs me.
