How about a jailbreak scene, or even a breakout from the courthouse as the PCs wait to give testimony? Perhaps her family anonymously hire an opposing adventuring group to spring her and take her safely out of the city without directly involving their name. With the PCs in hot pursuit, the group hole up in one of those intriguingly-named locations on the Bullywug Gambit area map, and after a bit of dungeon crawling and a final confrontation, the party either kill or capture Rowyn. If they capture her, or if her rescuers buy her enough time to completely escape, then she shows up as scheduled in Sea Wyvern's Wake.Wik said:*Spoilers ahead*
I'm thinking of moving the scenes involving Rowyn towards episode 2, however. I need a mini-adventure for next session, because half my group can't make it, and I think a small quest involving tracking her down might just be the way to go. I know two PCs should be able to take her on (they did last time, and Gut Tugger was involved!), so it should be alright. Maybe something involving her trying to put together a new guild?
