Oooh, 30th-level Wizard, interesting. No prestige classes or anything, just straight up epic-level Wizard? Interesting to see a single-class NPC that high. Both DMs with their monsters and NPCs, and PCs have a rather hard time staying single-classed...

...and that's because of all the really cool class and prestige classes out there. :D (I mean that, it's nice to have a lot of options and uniqueness to the tables)

Actually... 26th level wizard/4th level archmage. Since she's been called an archmage several times before, I figured adding a few of those levels in made sense.

In print, she's got like 345 hp...

333, for being halfway to diabolical. (666.)

+12, one for each installment of the adventure path.

See? Makes perfect sense. I knew you had it planned out the whole time.

What?

Just got my issue and I gotta say, Andrew Hou rocks. The cover is really cool and it really shows how good Andrew is at changing his art style.

That's an awesome pic of Charon.

I knew you guys couldn't resist :p

Makes sense, though. That's what I love about PrC. It may be hard to stay single-classed for long, as a downside, but you're always something unique to the table :D

More to the point... with archmage levels, Iggwilv gets to do things like use limited wish as a quickened spell-like ability without sacrificing spellcasting advancement. Delightful!

Pants,

That was Charon?! Huh didn't even consider that. But it is a nice picture nonetheless. I'll be picking this up Wednesday/Thursday at B&N or some other bookstore. In any case, I'm looking forward to discussing it in more detail.

James,

I don't care about HP considerations when it comes to someone like Iggy. She's beyond stats at times. :)
