I have a question regarding Shami-Amourae - is she just an advanced succubus, or does she have some unique abilities ??

Shami-Amourae's a demon lord, and was built from the ground up as a new monster. She's got several succubus-like powers, but certainly has other powers as well.

She gets a better picture than Shami, that's for sure. I'd prefer her to be backed up by some Wardens of Malcanthet (Dungeon 139) rather than Hezrou though.

I was a bit puzzled that Red Shroud had the Fatespinner prestige class, but then I realized that it's supposed to represent her membership in the Fated faction. Nice touch! I was glad to see Fall-From-Grace name-dropped, too.

On a quick read-through, the adventure is very atmospheric and varied and I love the additional detail on the Abyss and its prisoners. The detail on Ahazu and his cult really makes the Wells of Darkness come alive. However, the whole thing seems - again, on a quick read-through - to be pretty anticlimatic. The PCs have to go through all that just to be told... well, no need for spoilers, but it seems rather sadistic if I'm not missing anything.

Yeah... the secret they learn has a weird thing about it being something that, while not well known in D&D land, is pretty well known in the real world of D&D fandom. <shrug> At least the PCs get lots of XP along the way.

If you're looking for a good climax to the whole thing... just wait till the last one! Holy Zombie Vanthus but there's some crazy stuff in the last two adventrues!

James, Orcus at CR 32 is fine with me. Now I have a wide variation in CRs, from Hordes of the Abyss, BoVD, Rappan Attuck, ToH to Dungeon #149.

I said it before and I say it again: He is the only Celebrity Demon Prince!

That would be the Queen of Hearts, right?

Demogorgon has his stats out, and soon Orcus? That leaves Graz'zt...will we see his "Demonomicon" stats done before the end of Dragon&Dungeon?

I really hope so. Graz'zt is my favorite of the "Big Three".
