Dungeon #150

And I am pretty sure WotC said your stuff can be PRINTED. Sure, costs for ink would be horrendous, maybe, but I don't think you'd be printing EVERYTHING in the DI. Just what you need for your games.

Nope, whatever I need to read (compared to glance over). I don't read anything more than a page on the computer. When I buy I PDF to read I always print it out (which limits the size of PDF products I'm willing to b uy).

I agree with Steel_Wind. I don't know to what extent I'll enforce a boycott on myself. But I can say that I was very upset by the decision WOTC made to cancel Dungeon and Dragon magazines and that it may take years, if ever, to pacify the deep seated anger I now feel for WOTC regarding this decision. I had a good amount of brand loyalty generated from the fact WOTC saved D&D from neglect. But that brand loyalty took a sore beating from the cancellation of Paizo's license.

Part of the reason you're hearing a lot about it this week is that we're launching the line officially at Gen Con, which happens in about a week and a half. The other reason is that we're fulfilling subscriptions for the first volume between now and then, and a LOT of people haven't gotten around to making a conversion decision yet. We think that's because most of them have been putting it off, and we want to let people know that it will soon be too late to become a charter subscriber and get the first issue and free Player's Guide.

People who subscribe for the next month before Pathfinder #2 ships will have an option to retroactively start their subscription with #1 and get both at the same time, but the book is about to come out.

Yes, we want Pathfinder to be successful. In order to publish the stuff we've got in mind yes, we NEED Pathfinder to be successful. Which is why it's so gratifying to see all of the support in the form of threads like these and, especially, in the rolls of our charter subscribers, a list that grows larger and larger each day.

For those who are already on board, I can't wait until we can talk about the first volume. For those who haven't yet decided whether or not to join us... We hope you give us a shot!

I really can't wait to report on the first issue here, but realistically I probably won't get the chance. If it's being sold at Gen Con, and I'm getting mine in the mail (charter subscriber here), then someone who buys theirs at Gen Con will doubtlessly report on it here first.

The Bargle update is a chock full of nostalgia. I must have run that little adventure half a dozen times back in the 80's. The PCs never did make it to Bargle, though.

I've wanted to kill that SOB ever since he killed that hot chick I was adventuring with in that solo adventure in the D&D basic set.
