Dungeon 158 way behind schedule?

I noticed that Dungeon magazine 158 still has two more adventures and a dungeoncraft article to be done, and it's already Sept 25th.

Dungeon #158 Table of Contents

Are these going to be last second additions? I'm really hoping, that If I am going to give them my subscription money for DDI next month, that they are more prompt with the product I am buying...

Looking back at August and July, all of the (non adventure path) adventures for those months were released in the last eight days of the month. So it looks like they're sticking to the same schedule.

Yeah.. seems like with both of the mags, we get normal schedule for most of the month and then the last couple of days... WHAM lots of stuff...

Maybe it's to make up for the begining of each month which is mostly filled with editorial stuff.

Another possibility is that WotC's print releases tend to happen around the middle of the month, and they're trying to get new content out at regular intervals when taken across all of their delivery models.

As has been mentioned, the adventures tend to be clustered towards the end of the month.

I'm assuming that's because they take longer to write, edit and approve. On the bright side, since they're all done in parallel by different authors, it means that they should all be ready by the end of the month, but unlike other things there's little chance of them being done earlier.

So Dungeon actually comes out the last week of the month? I have been only reading bits of Dragon (I think) and can't really tell which is which from a glance of them.

So Dungeon has all adventures released at the end of the month correct?

Eh I wouldn't say the whole thing does... It's just most of it's content seems to hit towards the end of the month.

So, let me get this straight, they're streaming out parts of an entire electronic-only magazine bits at a time per month instead of having an entire magazine available on a certain day of the month like clockwork?

Are you kidding me?

Well, they do compile it into a single PDF at the end of the month, so they kind of do both.
