Dungeon 169 - Oasis of the Golden Peacock

Adventurer
[shamless self-promotion] I'm not sure if its exactly kosher for me to create a thread about my own adventure, but I'm really excited that after 3 years and two fully written versions its finally out. I would really appreciate any feedback that anyone wants to offer and I'm more than willing to answer any questions.

I also noticed that I had problems accessing the WotC website via IE8, but the direct link to the adventure's splash page worked OK, and I had no problems getting to it using Firefox.

Dungeon Adventure: Oasis of the Golden Peacock

I hope everyone enjoys the adventure as much I enjoyed writing it.

Congratulations, Shroomy! I've always thought about submitting dungeon proposals, but never actually got around to it; color me both impressed and jealous!

;)

I'll look at it later, but I do want to say Yaay Shroomy. :)

However, if this adventure doesn't contain myconids, I'm going to be disappointed in you. You are our resident fungi.

Hey Shroomy. Is the Order of the Golden Peacock by chance related to Golden Wyvern adepts?

They are not, they're actually an ancient sect of druids. EDIT: The name actually pre-dates the announcement of 4e and at first it referred to Hazar's original conception, which was changed (for the better now that I look back on it) after Chris Youngs and I were discussing the 3.5e version of the adventure.

Wotc website seems unstable on Mozilla. Could login but can't access your article.

Hopefully, they'll get that fixed, but the link to the title page worked for me this morning.

It seems as if I can't get to WotC the usual way. But I could get to this adventure.

I won't read it in full detail, in case someone else in my group plans on running it. But it definitely looks nice. The encounter
with the Elf/Eladrin and his Nymph lover is hopefully as funny in play as it sounds.

Yeah, I thought that some of that encounter may have been cut due to the "adult" content, but I'm glad to see its still in there.

Just from a quick skim it already looks as distinctive as one can get. Lose Love the desert feel. Kudos, and I'll make sure to run it when I have a 7th-level party!
