Dungeon Crawl Classics Adventure Campaign (OOC)

Gets down on knees and begs "Please, please tone him tone before Delghar is a) Forced to leave him bounded, gaged, manacled and locked in a secure room while everyone else flees the area, or b) Kills him."

Admittedly the first option is much more liekly.

Well... Perhaps if there was some sort of, oh, I don't know, ADVENTURE the group could embark upon, he'd be a little more occupied and less likely to ramble... [/hint, hint] ;)

No problemo, that "real world" stuff gets in the way for all of us at some time or another. Just chompin' at the bit is all.

Maybe I should have been more straightforward...

Lord Raven, doesn't "Barstuck's" sound somewhat familiar? Swap the 'B' and the 'st' around, and you'll have discovered the source of Dagg's verbal diarrhea. I was offering a way for you to rid him of the liquid speed.

um What are you on about  I.e. you above comments relate to what?

And what is liquid speed, sorry if I'm being dense but I just don't follow what your saying :D

The above makes more sense when read after the following

A look of happy surprise springs to Dagg's face. "By my very word, that's exactly what Pebbles has been telling me lately. He thinks I've been overactive, I've just told him that nothing's changed, everything's the same. Then he says that it's not the same since I started drinking nearly a half-gallon of Barstuck's Brew every morning. It's expensive, yes, but I just can't seem to get myself to stop. Of course, I can never order the amount I want because they use such weird words for measurement... Oh well, no matter. Have you every tried it, my spittle spraying compatriot? It's quite good. Here, have a taste, it'll put some color back into your knuckles, there." At this Dagg pulls out a stoppered flask and offers it to Delghar.

And here I was thinking that the cause of Dagg's verbal diarrhea was because he is incredibly dense.

Then again he does have 10 Int so I did think it a bit odd that he is so very dumb.

'Barstucks' ---> swap the 'b' and the 'st' ---> 'Starbucks'

Rather than just completely changing his character so abruptly, I was hinting that he had been drinking too much coffee - i.e., liquid speed - which resulted in his hyperactivity and increased talkativeness.

Yes, he's got "average" intelligence. But too much coffee + lack of action = HyperDagg.

But no matter, Krago said he suddenly got busier than he expected, so we might as well make the most of the interim.

Ah! I see now. So the fact that Delghar FINISHED the flask of "liquid speed" is why he started talking so much suddenly and why his patience so suddenly ran out. Right? ;)
