Dungeon Delve question

If this is the wrong place for this, please move.

That being said.
I like the book, and am going to use Delve 3 Orc Stronghold this week.

But I'm confused about the "hilltop keep". It's referred to as a keep and as a "lord's" home. Which is it?
If it's a keep, then I can see it as is fine.
But if it's supposed to be his home as well, where's the rest of it?
Am I to assume it is only a portion of this keep, and that there are two other possible areas? The "lord's" abode, and a stable area?

Just asking, because the intro text threw me off.

I also posted this on the wizards boards, but it seems they went down, and I can't see them now.

So... not to beat a dead horse, can you help?

Traditionally, a keep or castle began as a single great hall where everyone lived (including the lord and lady). Only as they grew would they add on butteries and pantries and maybe a lesser hall for cooking. When they got really big and added a second level, then sometimes the lord would get his own room (called the solar because it was close to the sun). It was considered anti-social if he spent too much time there.

So maybe the designer was just doing a traditional small fortification. If that's the case one room and a stable would be perfectly logical.
