See the section on the 2010s - that "final issue" published in Jan 2014.
Huh. I hadn’t noticed.
White Dwarf continued to be published on a monthly basis until issue #409, January 2014. On 1 February 2014, the magazine moved to a 32-page format, published weekly and renumbered from issue 1.[7] Warhammer Visions, a monthly sister title, was launched at the same time, in a format favouring the imagery over text. The weekly version of White Dwarf lasted for 131 issues and in September 2016 the magazine returned to its monthly format, also subsuming Warhammer Visions.

Scales of War was published in Dungeon Mag, and I loved that AP. Wish we still had a mag that contained official content. Even if it was one month a dungeon or two, the next month setting material. Basically alternating between what Dungeon was and what Dragon was. You could call it... wait for it... Dungeon & Dragon...

The format of DnD Beyond turned me off it even before I stepped away from WotC 5e.
What do you mean be "format." The format of 2e and 3e turned me off them too, but I don't think we are talking about the same thing. I am speaking of the graphics design, layout, and walls of text. I am guessing you have a different idea of format than this.

I don't getting content via web page, and I don't see what they provide personally as worth any sort of payroll. D&D Beyond really does nothing for me, and never did.

Also, I really like pdfs.

I think I understand, but there are some issues with this sentence that are confusing me. Regarding Beyond, it can only do stuff for you if you allow it.

Me too, but eventually I found Beyond so much easier to use I find myself buying less and less PDFs because I simple archive them and hardly ever use them. However, I use Beyond all the time when creating custom content for my games and for fun.
