Hey all,
Sorry if there was a thread about this earlier...
Dungeon has been including all sorts of 'easter eggs' in their adventures lately, and though most of them are familiar I'm having trouble dredging some of the references up from the fleshy tablets of my mind... so, can anyone help complete this list?
From "The Bullywug Gambit"
In the pirate caves, the nameplate for the ship "St. Asmod's Hope" references a Dungeon Magazine adventure from a year or two ago, but where is "Wavereaper" from? Or the barnacle encrusted ship's mast with "T...M...AUT" carved into it?
The "Sea Ghost" ship's bell is from "Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh"
The Wormfall festival references the last Adventure Path, and the city of Cauldron is mentioned more than once...
In Lavinia's manor, the "Earth Dragon" Statue is from "return of the slavers" or some such, right? I'm only familiar with it through the Nodwick comic...
Where does the "half a cow's head" statue come from?
The "Barrier Peaks" ID card is fun...
I haven't read through the rest of the magazine, but King Snurreson? Didn't we kill his dad back in the Hall of the Fire Giant King?
Have I missed any? Do you do the same thing in your games-- give little nods to what has gone before?
