How about a loooooong hallway with no doors and no torches. At the end where the party enters, there is a hand- scrawled message, "go back!"
As soon as they get to where they can see the other end of the hall, they see it dead ends in a wall with a bullseye drawn in chalk...and in the darkness behind them, they hear the scraping of stone on stone and the chittering of amused kobolds as a secret door opens and they fire a hwachaa down the hall at them.
