D&D 5E Dungeon Magazine-like source?

Hey all. Been a looong time since I've posted... But anyways.

I'm running a new 5e game, and I've realized how easy it is to convert modules. My current campaign follows a simple format - I present three adventure "hooks" to my five players, give a rough outline of what the adventure is "about" (and I mean "rough" - something like "It sounds like this will be a dungeon crawl that may have undead in it, on the stormwracked north coast of the island"). Players pick an adventure, I run it, and do the same next time they finish.

So. I've been raiding old Dungeon Magazine adventures (I'm currently running a 2e era module, "Keep for Sale"), old 1e modules, third party modules (Dungeon Crawl Classics for the win!) and the like. But I really like the relatively shorter, dungeon magazine adventures. And I'd love to see some 5e unofficial adventures, to see what other people are doing when they write 5e adventures.

And, of course, anything with Flumphs is awesome.

Awesome!

I know what you mean about the first bit - I had a D&D blog, but then realized it wasn't covered by OGL stuff, and since I wanted to monetize it, it seemed like I could be entering into a headache, so I stopped. Ensider seems like a great idea, and could be a nice answer to one of my pet peeves - the lack of a good D&D magazine on the market (I know, I know, Dragon +, but blahblahblah itunes). I'll have to check it out. As well as the youtube link.

Cheers!

Legendary Games has a few.

Jon Brazer Enterprises.

Goodman Games' big Kickstarter ends in an hour or two.

I am subbed to ENSider. Good stuff. and I bought QoD, both parts, from Froggie.

DRIVETHRU has a 5e section IIRC.

Smaller adventures seems to be a hot item for many 5e fans, at least on the web. But pickins are slim :(

That's the way I used to run my 2e games. Every couple of sessions I'd pass out notes to each player with 3-5 "rumors" that they heard about things going on. Some would overlap, but have different angles on the same adventure. Some would be false leads. At the end of a session, I'd have the players discuss what they wanted to do next, so I'd know what to prepare.

Sometimes, though, I'd just drop an adventure on them. Like, "oh, this is happening now. Deal with it!".

Thanks Merric. Perusing the list right now. Good to see that there's still some OGL-like stuff out there - I love seeing weird adventures like we used to see in the pages of Dungeon.

I saw that false rumors advice many years ago and took it... once. Never again! Who wants to waste half a session with the PCs going nowhere and doing nothing? My players at the time sure didn't!

When they chose a false rumor, I'd usually try to wrap it up pretty quickly, sometimes before the old session ended.
