28 - The Lost City

Ahhh, yes, this one is worthy of some recognition.

24 - City of the Spider Queen

You're kidding, right?

17 - Ruins of the Undermountain

Shouldn't a product have to be finished before it is published?

16 - The Isle of Dread
15 - Castle Amber
14 - Dead Gods

Yep, these should definitely be on the list.

13 - Dwellers of the Forbidden City

Um, this is almost unusable as published. Why is it here?

12 - The Forge of Fury

Tokenism.

11 - The Gates of Firestorm Peak
10 - Return to the Tomb of Horrors

Both of these are definitely worthy. IMO, Gates should be ranked higher.

9 - White Plume Mountain

It was quite good but, IMO< the Return to was infinitely superior.

8 - Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil

Big does not equal best.

4 - The Temple of Elemental Evil

At the risk of being branded a heretic, I would rate T1-4 as one of the worst 1E modules. T1 was outstanding; T2-4 should have been finished before being published... particularly as the product was several years overdue!

Personally, I think I would only list about 10-12 of those that are here. I would have to throw in Fedifensor from Dragon magazine, Caverns of Thracia from Judges Guild and 2E's Shattered Circle. I would also throw in a few of the 2E Dungeon adventures such as Return of the Anti-Paladin and Kingdom of the Ghouls.

Even though it's my personal favorite 3E module, I'm surprised Forge of Fury is on the list -- I'd have expected Sunless Citadel instead.

I would have expected them both to make it on the lower end of the list. For all the pooh-poohing of them as boring dungeon crawls, they'll end up being the classic 3E touchstones for this generation of players. But I can't quite fathom voting that puts FoF just outside the Top 10 while leaving Sunless Citadel somewhere less than #30.

Tombe of Martek didn't place? Scrap the list.

What was Night's Dark Terror about?

Tomb of Martek is part of Desert of Desolation.

DoD covers Pharoh, Tomb of Martek, and Oasis of the White Palm...

Also, I agree that ToEE should have been just T1. But ToEE does have a big footprint in the nostalgic metaconsciousness...

Ahhh... Ravenloft, my personal #1.
Yep, one of the all time classics in my book, don't leave home without it!

My group always really enjoyed Ship of Horrors from the Ravenloft setting, so I guess I would have liked to see it in there.
This on the other hand doesn't do much for me... I never really liked most of the Hexed adventures all that much, Night of the Walking Dead however was my favorite of the series. I also think that Bleak House doesn't get enough love.

I would have replaced Forge with Sunless. I don't have a problem with 3E modules being on the list, I think a couple of entries like Tomb of Horrors are only there for nostalgia; I don't believe that it should be on the list at all, as to be a Greatest Adventure List the modules ought to actually include an actual adventure in it, rather than just one TPK trap after another.
