DUNGEON's 119 cover looks awesome!

119 looks and sounds sweet. Erik, you realise that if you keep this direction up, when you do EVENTUALLY leave as editor in chief your departure may very well kill both lines...

Thanks, Aaron. I really appreciate that sentiment, even though I am sure the magazines will live on long after I've moved along to some other obsession.

Honestly, I'd really like to see the sales numbers on both titles increase significantly. They've been in a decline for a while now, due to various factors, and I'd really like to see those trends change. Everything I've done editorially has been to try to create something cool and profitable at the same time. If I leave the magazines in better financial state than I inherited them, I will have contributed quite a lot to their legacy on top of the creative accomplishments included in each issue.

Time will tell. Thanks for your support!

Impressive pic, but...

FEED THAT POOR DISPLACER BEAST!!!

The drow girl's arms are thicker than our poor mutant feline's belly. A panther is supposed to have more belly than that. Do you want to face the wrath of PETMB?

She's actually riding the thing, but it's displaced, so you can't tell.

The displacement effect doesn't extend to a rider? That's rather cool, in a way -- just imagine how disturbing it must be too see a DB cavalry charging, with each rider seemingly hovering in the air five feet from his mount! :D

Displacer beasts are specifically anorexic nowadays. My theory is that they went on a diet in sympathy for the poor slimmed-down halflings.

Fantastic cover!

You guys are going to crap when you see the 120 cover. This is shaping up to be quite a run.

PS: I wouldn't worry if you don't have 118 yet. It should arrive soon.

Holy cow... you got to do something about that mail service dude. That's... ten years late now? ;)
Meh. I was tired, wanted to save some trouble of going back to edit it, and what do I get? Derision on top of my pain.

;)
