D&D 5E Dungeons and Dragons at Origins

I took Mearls and Rodney Thompson to White Castle, because we are buddies. Depending on your perspective, that was either a symbol of friendship and respect or the world's most canny bit of corporate poisoning on record. :)
I notice that everyone calls him "Mearls," and his username here is mearls. I wonder what his wife calls him.... :hmm:

Oh yeah, the people playing at the tables with electronic tools seemed to be dying frightening regularity. They rang a little bell for each death. It was kind of funny.

Survival was expected to be rare. My team though did survive. Because we really were just that good. ;-)

Taking Mearls to White Castle was definitely a sign of friendship. I always get White Castle if I go anywhere near Columbus. A friend and I ended up buying 40 as we passed through Circleville on the way home from Origins.

I know, right? The mind reels at the possibilities of a version of Castle Greyhawk written by me, James Jacobs, and Jason Bulmahn.

Such a product would surely be awesome. And unforgettable!

Here's hoping we could ever be so lucky as to live in a world where such an impossible dream were made tangible!

Mearls and Mona go to White Castle would be a fantastic movie.

The Favoured Soul as a subclass of Sorceror was suggested by Mike Mearls actual, I think when the playtest verison of the Sorceror released.

Of course that sorceror weredragon thing was tossed so I don't know if Mearls idea of some none arcane bloodlines if sorceror survived, of which the Favoured Soul was given as a Divine Example. I hope it was, I really do.
