D&D (2024) Dungeons & Dragons 2025 Monster Manuals show up in the wild.

No, they should ask their game store to order games by small and indie developers and companies. That benefits both the game companies and the store.
My FLGS, which prides itself on its indie skater cred and ethos, carries nothing but WotC and Paizo stuff and has zero interest in anything else. I suspect the RPG section is an artifact of someone who no longer works there and what ordering they do nowadays is just on autopilot.

When I offered to run Pirate Borg for Limithron's Talk Like a Pirate Day promotion last year, they could not have been less interested.

So Noble Knight, several states away, is the "local" game store I support. Lead a horse to water, and all that.

Hasbro has very particularly gone out of their way to do something behind the scenes (exactly what is unclear, but it is clear theybhave done something) so that Amazon cannot undermine MSRP in the USA for them.
Last year they announced dropping Penguin Random House as their distributor, moving to a selection of other distributors for D&D products (Alliance, Diamond (eek!), GTS, etc.). As part of that change, D&D products are apparently now classified (at least by Amazon) as "games" rather than "books", and are subject to different pricing policies (either due to internal Amazon practice, different contract terms, or some combination of factors).

Yes, good.

With luck the tariffs won't last long, cause they are pointless attacks and as far as I know no one but one person wants them. And hopefully their advisors help them see sense and not wreck the NA Economy for literally no reason.
I appreciate the hopeful sentiment, but everyone was already saying, "Hopefully it won't happen" and now they're saying "Hopefully it won't last". I'm short on that kind of hope right now, other than, "Hopefully it won't be a total complete disaster" and "Hopefully I will still have a business a year from now".
