I kmow that this probably isn't the BEST place to put this as the games I'm talking about are board games...but they are kinda about Role playing as you assume a hero. I'm trying to get an opinion of which I should get...what do you guys think
Dungeoneer?

I looked at both on boardgamegeek.com can't decide
I can't speak for Runebound, but I can talk about Dungeoneer. I've bought and played four of the Dungeoneer sets, and two guys I regularly game with both like it a lot. I think it's great because it feels like a combination of Magic:The Gathering and a D&D board game, if that makes any sense.
Since I mentioned MtG, let me say this: One of the great things about it is that it is not a collectible card game, so you won't encounter players who have a crazy advantage over you because they've spent huge amounts of money on rare cards. There are no such things as rares, uncommons, or commons in this game; there are merely expansion sets (Dragons of the Forsaken Desert, Den of the Wererats, etc.). The sets can be played separately or combined. In addition, there is no deck construction as in MtG.
It's like a board game because the players build the "board" as the game progresses. Each turn has a build phase wherein the player draws a map card and places it down wherever he/she wants (within legal limits). This allows for some interesting strategies. Each player can also use one of their movement points to draw and place another map card if desired.
It has a distinct D&Dish dungeon crawl feel to it, since the players play fantasy heroes who must overcome monsters and traps and complete quests in order to succeed.
IMO, any money you spend on this game will be well spent, and you won't regret it.
There's a forum for the game at dungeoneer.net, which comes in handy for rules questions and general discussion.
