Dunst "reveals" Spider-man 3 villains

Well, I like Topher Grace, but I'm worried that he just isn't buff enough to pull off Venom. I mean Venom needs to be like on par with The Rock or something, IMO.

Ditto cuz I have no clue on how they did Venom in the Ultimate Verse.

In the Ultimate Marvel universe, Eddie Brock is Peter Parker's childhood friend, and the symbiote is not an alien, but the creation of their fathers. Richard Parker intended it to be used for medical purposes, but Brock Sr. was more interested in the military applications. Eddie continued his father's research, and created two symbiotes. One bonded with Peter, leading to a variant of the "alien spider costume" storyline. Afterwards, he warned Eddie of the dangers of the symbiotes, but Brock nonetheless bonded with the other one, becoming Venom. It's interesting to note that whilst the original version of Venom had a personal vendetta on Spider-Man, he just knew he was Peter Parker, this version had a vendetta against Peter and the Spider-Man identity meant nothing to him.

I want Kraven. Sure, the character is pretty outdated, big game hunter and all, but that's just a challege for any half decent writer to turn in to a great backstory.

Sandman? I'd rather see that lizard dude. Or that guy in a big mobile ferris wheel. Or the Thinker, he was cool. Yeah.

FWIW, Topher has supposedly been on a pretty intense exercise and diet regimen in preparation for this role. I suspect, given his similar physique/appearance to Tobey Maguire, that they're going for a leaner look than the comic book "Spider-Man on 'Roids" Venom.

That is, if this "leak" has any truth to it at all.

Aw, I was hoping to see a big-screen version of Venom that looked more like this one:

Dunst is quoted at Zap2It as saying, "We have really great people though as the villains in this film, Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace -- Venom and Sandman." She added, "Maybe I wasn't supposed to say that."

yeah..riiiiight.

My goodness! More chest and less tongue? Who is that artist? Don't you know it's the other way around?

Gotta get your drooling psycopath looking just right, you know.

How about Scorpion? The spider slayers? Arcade? Solo ("Terror gets wounded! How 'bout, terror gets wounded!")? Hydro-man? Mysterio? Rhino? What about those guys, don't they get any lovin'?
