Dweomerkeeper (CD WE)

Yes.

Ignoring spell components completely isn't too bad either, altho I think that's only about material components, or do (Su) abilities also ignore XP components?

If so, that would be crazy. ;)

It says ignore all components, and XP is a component, so I guess so (I didn't think of the SR , ooh and as an added benefit you can't dispel supernatural abilities (by the text in 3.5e, say hello to undispellable mega doom spells of your choice. ) .

And if not Genies are mighty generous sacrifing 15000 XP of their own to anyone who they grant wishes to , no matter how much they twist them.

re

Wow Thanee...I didn't even think of that. I'm not sure if Supernatural abilities require components or focuses. That would be even more powerful and cool.

I'm jazzed about this Prc because I've always liked Mystra. I've always thought a goddess of her power should have servants that are more powerful than the standard. Now, this Prc really gives them some unique spellcasting abilities that far exceed what other casters can do without being so overpowering as to break the game. Very nice job by the designers.

Well, you can dispel (Su) abilities and they are subject to antimagic field (see DMG). ;)

Someone else pointed out, that XP is called an XP Cost, not really a component (all others are called components... V,S,M,F).

That would be a wee bit too much, if XP was not deducted, really. :D

Celtavian, the Cleric of Mystra (Initiate of Mystra) / Dweomerkeeper should give you quite that feel... :D

Altho it's not such a cheap entry in terms of feats, as the Wizard (who in turn loses one class level to get divine spells and the pretty much wasted magic domain... altho +2 Fort/Will, +4 HP, and the other cleric advantages (Divine Metamagic?) would at least somewhat compensate you for the loss).

Actually you can't dispel Su abilities, the table says you can but the text says you can't, and the text is the primary source, thank god, dispelling Damage Reduction was just silly in 3e. And XP is listed on the components line so I think it is one.

Ah, ok. Got that from the table. My bad. :)

Yeah, it seems so. Crazy. Do they even think about stuff like that, when writing their rules? ;)

Slight hijack

I've noticed in the Web Enhancement that each Prestige Class entry has a section called "Adaptation" which gives advice on how to introduce it into a campaign. Is this a regular feature of all Complete Divine Prestige Classes? I like the idea.

I guess this is because they removed the campaign focus. Some of those were actually PrC from the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (not the book).

All the Complete Divine PrCs have the adaptation section, generally to allow a DM who isn't using the core gods to still use these prestige classes, since many of them are god specific.
