[E.N.Pub] Tired of every Paladin looking the same?

A lot of things happened to Evocations... We've been unable to get in touch with some of the primary contributors and that REALLY threw a wrench in things. Then the artist doing the cover disappeared, leaving us with a half-complete cover with a typo.

Argh...

Evocations has been a hair-pulling good time.

No racial variations in this, sorry, but as it stands, you can make 30 different paladin classes using the one core class in here by choosing one of the five focuses and six dedications. The focuses are chosen at level 1, and determine what core abilities the class grants, the dedications are chosen at level 2 and affect spellcasting and other abilities granted by the class.

Plus you have a lot of other variety through the special abilities - at 5 different times as a paladin levels up, he gets a choice of an ability from a list of 17 special abilities. Effectively, you should never see two PC paladins look the same again, even if both use the same class.

And of course, that's just the Paladin - this book also includes the Knight and Scourge.

I would love to hear more detail on the mechamancy book. I too have not been too disappointed by any of your books, especially those authored by you, Hellhound. Usually at least one or two things in the PDF can be directly added to my campaign, which is saying something since I run a rather unique psuedo-post apocalyptic technomagic 3.5 game.

PS do you have an approximate time table (just VERY general idea) of when we might see the armor books?

I'm avoiding timetables except for the 'coming soon' announcements we make from time to time, for the time being.

I haven't authored any of th releases I'm pimping right now, but I can say I was instrumental on getting Heroes of Code out, since I approached the ahutor based on the quality of the work in question. It's brilliant stuff, and I've replaced all the core classes in my campaigns with theones in these releases.

As for Mechamancy, check out the E.N. Publishing forum for some more information on it. Rough timetable currently has Heroes of Code due for release (in print and PDF) on Tuesday, and Mechamancy (also print & PDF) at the end of next week or the beginning of the week after.
