Exhausted from the dozens of bleeding cuts from the bats, Rodimus decides he'll at least try to break the jackal's neck before he succumbs to them.
Extending his hand, he attempts to get a hold of the jackal's head and then give it a good twist.

Shaking his head to clear the blood from a bleeding bat wound out of his eyes, Gorefoot keeps up his current tactic until he hammers the skeleton into a pile of bones.

OOC: Still power attacking for 3, so +6 to hit and 1d10+11 to damage.

[Round 11 END]

Percy's magic missile strikes true again. As the two bolts of magenta light slam into the side of the jackal he barks something else. It sounds close enough to modern common to make out, "The Royal King shall have your heads." He then collapses in a heap, unconscious on the ground.

Rodimus reaches down and cracks the jackal's neck, the half-orc's blood flowing freely down his arms over his fallen foe.

Gorefoot slams his greatsword into the bones of the cheetah sending shards flying in all directions.

The bats disperse, most heading for small holes in the northern most wall. Ishmael cures his wounds a bit more.

"Whew. So that's not the royal king? Well done, anyway, boys. Does anyone have some healing left?" Percy goes back out to guard the rear.

Gorefoot brushes blood away from his eyes again, seeming to be annoyed that the wound doesn't stop bleeding. "Rodimus doesn't look so good, someone should help him out."

Nars pants trying to catch his breath as the last of the bats scurry into the wall. Dropping his sickle to the ground, he moves over to Nezrak to make sure the elf is still breathing and not bleeding too badly. Then he slips a hand inside his breast pocket and removes the flask there. Finding it nearly empty, he gives it a little shake and finishes it off and slips it back in his pocket. Into his beard he mumbles almost inaudibly

[SBLOCK]"Not as good as one of them healing potions, but it helps."[/SBLOCK]
"I, er, think we are all, ah, worse for wear." He seems hesitant to continue deeper in the tomb. "Maybe we should, ah, leave this one fer tomorrow," he says gesturing toward the next set of doors, "and, er, finish searching the rest."

OOC: Assuming Ishmael heals everyone though probably Nars last, here's some rolls for Nars:
Healing (1d8+1=7)
Healing (1d8+1=6)
Healing (1d8+1=3)
This leaves Nars at 4 damage.
Also, Nars is overly conservative. Percy used lots of spells, but Nezrak did not. I'll leave it up to the spells casters to determine whether to continue on. Nars will search the door for traps if directed. If we are continuing on, Nars would ask for another charge of the wand.

Ishmael stands there panting, staring at the corpse of the Jackal. The hatred in his veins refuses to subside as does a heavy feeling of malaise. Distracted by the whirlwind within, he doesn't answer until physically called to attention, or else by a stern verbal summons.

OOG: Uses of the wand so far: 2 +3 (from Nars). If you need healing (as I'm sure Rodimus will), Ishmael will be happy to help out (when shaken out of his delirium). Also, feel free to roll in advance and record how many charges you need.

Alas, poor accursed Ishmael. I take it that it's the -4 to everything curse?
