E2: The Secret of Gemhold [Patlin Judging]

[Round 1]

Percy moves around the goblins to place herself in a position to pick off goblins retreating.

Nars reloads quickly and fires at the lead goblin again. Having put two very percise shots into the boss he falls, bleeding and unconscious.

The remaining goblins freak out and take off running. Bogrun is easily in the lead having dropped Sniff's collar. The other three who were standing near their boss trip over one another to move as fast as possible away from the tree and back to the fort.

Ridik moves forward, but his short legs and the lack of a straight line hinder his movement.

Rodimus however is fleet of foot and manages to get out ahead of the goblins near the edge of the forest.

Gorefoot follows Ridik but doesn't make it much further. He does enter the battle area where he sees the fallen goblin boss. And Sniff...

Sniff charges Gorefoot but fails miserably, as it trips over its former boss.

Nezrak moves forward overtaking Ridik, he almost manages to catch up with Percy.

ooc: I'm going to encourage rolling more, though I wont wait on rolls if I am ready to post the next round. I don't have a map prepared for this combat so here is the rough situation.

Nars is in his tree. Sniff has charged Gorefoot. 3 goblins have moved past the tree by about 20'. Bogrun is now 80' away to the right, closing in on the edge of the forest. Rodimus has made it around in front of Bogrun. Percy is now close to where Nars is hiding in the tree. She has LoS on the 3 fleeing goblins or Sniff. Gorefoot is 20' from the tree, in close combat with Sniff. Ridik being slowest is still 40' from Gorefoot. Nezrak is 20' from Percy and can see Gorefoot and the dog.

Percy will ready an action to nail any goblin that appears to make it past Rodimus. She's fairly confident the monk can take down at least one of them. She'll divy up her missiles if more than one look like they'll get out of the woods.

OOC: Magic missiles. If three appear to be escaping, she'll target one missile at each. If fewer seem to be able to escape, she'll aim two or three at one. In order, her missiles do: 5,5 & 2.

Rodimus swings around his leg to deliver a serious concussion to the goblin but misses, so he continues the momentum to punch it in the face.

OoC: Flurry of Blows with Stunning Fist on the first one, but that likely misses. Dealing nonlethal damage for now.
Flurry of Blows, PA1 (1d20+6=10, 1d8+5=8, 1d20+6=18, 1d8+5=8)

If there is an attack of opportunity for one of 'em trying to run past him, Rodimus trips it (Improved Trip, so Touch attack +6, Str check +8, no AoO).

[Round 2]

Percy readies herself.

Nars jumps out of the tree and heads towards one of the fleeing goblins. He misses however, still trying to gain his footing.

Bogrun tries to duck around Rodimus. The half-orc reaches out to trip the little blighter and misses. Bogrun gets about 15 more feet away before turning to thumb his nose at Rodimus. Bogrun is out the open now, or he would've been if Percy's magic missles hadn't slammed him into the ground. With the other three further back she is unable to seperate her missiles. Rather than let one get through, she kills Bogrun outright. The other three scatter seeing Rodimus in the way. One stupidly heads straight for the half-orc. The other two split north and south to get past him.

Ridik moves forward, but his short legs and the lack of a straight line hinder his movement.

Rodimus seeing Percy take care of the little one removes the threat of the one that came towards him. With a couple of swift kicks the thing is on it's knees then down.

Gorefoot attacks the dog. As his weapon smashes into the disgusting little creature wiry little hairs and entirely too much flakey dander create a cloud of ick around Gorefoot. The dander might've been allergic for some, but not Gorefoot. The dog lies dead at his feat.

Nezrak moves forward a bit more to where he has sight on the one fleeing north. Using the same spell as Percy he manages to kill that one as well.

ooc: I'm going to encourage rolling more, though I wont wait on rolls if I am ready to post the next round. I don't have a map prepared for this combat so here is the rough situation.

Nars is 30' east of the tree. Sniff is dead. Bogrun is dead. 2 other goblins are dead. One is alive and skirting past Percy and Nezrak towards the forest edge. Rodimus stands over the dead body of one goblin, he is 20ft from the last one. Percy is pretty close to the last goblin too though more south westerly. Gorefoot is 20' from the tree and Ridik is next to him now.

Ridik, seeing all teh goblins are dead except one, decide to save his life so they can question him... and ironically, he shouts to him in goblin: "Die!"

[SBLOCK=OOC]Cating Command spell[/SBLOCK]

Percy would like to keep this last one alive as well. "Don't kill it, Rodimus!" she shouts.

OOC: Whoops. I thought Percy had 'charm person' as a spell. I was wrong. She'd planned to charm a captive & get it to tell her everything it knew. Oh well....
