With only minimal preparations, Rodimus approaches the now picked double doors and kicks them open with his foot. The heavy door would've proven impossible to open with a swift kick if it wasn't already unlocked and ready. Given the silent movement and the delay in getting down here, you've managed to surprise a group of hobgoblin slavers sitting on guard. The room you burst into is only about 10' square and an open doorway beyond shows a hall leading to more doors.

The three hobgoblins attempt to leap into action in the small room, but surprised there is enough time for Rodimus to lay waste.

Ridik, seeing only three hobgoblin, decides to cast Bless to help his friends and move while drawing his new magical mace to block the way of the third, making sure Percy have plenty of room to cast what she want.

[Surprise Round]

Saving the bulk of her power for later, Percy targets one of the hobgoblins with a magic missile. Four purple darts impact the slaver.

Thinking that the third hobgoblin might proove the most exhilirating to fight, Rodimus charges past the other two to get at him. The first two hobgoblins are surprised and do not react fast enough to impeed the flying monk, who for all that misses.

Ridik blesses the group moments too late to help Rodimus connect.

Nars stabs at one of the hobgoblins, but even catching it flat-footed does not help the dwarf connect.

Percy fires another magic missile at the first hobgoblin and again 4 darts impact.

Rodimus smacks the tougher looking hobgoblin around a lot, but the big guy just takes it and smiles, "That all ya got?"

He proceeds to draw two short swords as do the other two hobgoblins. They are all wearing a form of banded mail. The big hobgoblin slashes at Rodimus four times with his swords, hitting the half-orc twice.

One of the others turns to attack Rodimus from behind now flanking the monk. He hits all four times, one of which narrowly misses Rodimus' kidney.

The other one turns on Nars and attacks four times as well hitting all four times narrowly critting the dwarf.

OOC: Thank you for NPCing Percy. Sorry about my slow post rate

IC: Percy is surprised how tough these hobgobins are. She'll hit the injured one with two magic missiles, and each of the others with one.

OOC: Spells availabe: 6/8/8/6/4. Used 0/4/0/0/0. At 9th she took the arcane tap feat, which allows her to cast at a 9th level sorcerer effective level, so she can actually do 5 magic missiles per shot. dgm: 9,2,2,2
