I keep trying to get in a solid post here, & I'm having a hard time. I'll have another shot here.

So before we all separate to take position, Percy will cast a mage armor spell on Rodimus. (Say T-15 minutes)

Then Percy will line up with the Treants & Nars behind a tree, as close as possible to the fort. Percy will make sure she has a view of the Northern gap in the wall. The nomads will take up various positions where they are somewhat concealed and able to practice their archery.

Nezrak, Gorefoot, Rodimus and Ridik will lead the thorns around from the North, and take position with their backs to the cliff, out of sight of the goblinoid sentries on the wall.

Fridley will give a loud hoot. This is the signal (T). Percy will then cast invisiblity on Nars (T+1 rounds) and Nezrack will cast his five spells (T+1 to T+5 rounds): Enlarge Person (+2 Str, -2 Dex, -1 AC, 5 minutes) and Cat's Grace (+4 Dex, 5 minutes) at Rodimus, and Protection From Evil (+2 Deflection to AC, +2 Resistance to Saves, 5 minutes) at Rodimus, and Gorefoot. Percy will cast Mage armor on herself. (T+2)

Nars will begin moving on T+1 right after Percy turns him invisible. He will sneak in the gate, or through the broken tower, or wherever seems best to him.

At T+5 after Nezrak's spells are cast, Rodimus and Gorefoot will charge towards the gap, Thorns in tow.

As soon as Percy sees them approach the gap, she'll clear it of enemies with a fireball (T +6 or so). All the nomads and such launch their arrows at this point, the Treatns charge with their living trees, the petal and pixie make michief etc.

How's that sound?

Ridik will cast at T to T+3, Shield of Faith on Nars, Bless on everyone (and hoping Nars is not too far to be affected), Bull's Strength on Gorefoot, Magic Circle against Evil on Ridik.

He will then charge with the group, trying to keep everyone inside 40 feet. Once the group enter melee, he plan to cast Prayer to affect both allies and enemy.

I've got Nars & Percy separated from the others. This is to give her the chance to fireball the gap, and be able to cast invisibility on Nars. I'm open to changing that formation.

Nars would not be adverse to having more buff spells cast on him, but I think Nars primary role here is to get in and make sure the way in is reasonable, and then wait for until he can somewhat safely move in for a full attack sneak attack.

Of course, with those extra buffs available, maybe it makes sense to send the Pixie in with invisibility to fulfill the scouting role and Nars can operate without invisibility as a backup fighter - staying around the fringes to get full attacks - and then tumbling past the opposition once they are thinned down.

OOC: I choose to cast Shield of aith on Nars because he was alone and if things got ugly on his side, he needed to be able to survive a time. Don't forget the dog can smell. Also the Magic Circle will encompass a few person around him, giving deflection bonus, which Nars wouldn't have being too far away, so he got it from Shield of Faith.

OOC: The problem with that under Percy's current plan is that Ridik and Nars are about 150 feet apart at T+3. Ridik is near the northern cliff while Nars and Percy are near the trees in front of the gate.
Btw, thanks Manz for writing up such a nice sequence of events. It really helps as a reference for discussion.

OOC: Miss that. In that case, I'll only cast Magic Circle, Bull's Strength and Bless and keep Shield of Faith for futur use (or healing).

Anyone knows if the giants can speak Goblin? Might be usefull for Command.

ooc: I'll echo the thanks, that'll help me immensly. Once the plan is finalized if people could indicate in ooc for each post what spell effects they have on them and each round what the duration is that would help too. This is most likely the biggest battle in LEW history and certainly the biggest I've ever run. With 200+ vs. 30+ there are a lot of NPCs to deal with. I've been trying to find time to put together things on my end, but it may have to wait till after my vacation. I'll be out of town from Dec 20-26.

"The, er, barghest?" with a quizzical look at the Pixie, Nars continues, "came out of the, er, mine, and, er, I think most the, ah, goblins are down there. I wonder if I could, er, block the entrance, ah, somehow. Anyone have any, er, caltrops?"
