Eberron - Age of Demons

First Post
So you've have this age of demons in Eberron. Dragons saved the day, imprisoned a lot of the demons/fiends/raja's in the ground. Gotcha, cool.

My question is....Other than Rakshaka, who were the demons? Demons from the MM? Tan'arri and whatnot? I see the demons in the MM, and they don't do it for me. Personally, I think the Devil's work better.

I guess my question is, is there some official list out there detailing who was on the demon side during the age of demons? And are these Raja's just some bad ass Rakshas?

There needs to be some kind of "Villians of Eberron" supplement. Written by Mr. Baker.

As far as I've ever been able to tell, the demons of Eberron are the various fiends from the MMs and other books - demons, devils, yugloloths, etc. I haven't heard of a list of which critters are around, but considering that one of the mottos of Eberron is "if it's in D&D, it has a place in Eberron," I'm guessing that the answer is "all of them."

I wouldn't say the answer is all of them. Remember they just have a place, not that everything is always there. So, find the demons and other outsiders you want to use and use them. Don't worry about using them all if you don't want to.

The setting material is unclear on this. I assumed it's as Aeric said - evil outsiders such as demons, devils and yugoloths. Also I imagine that the creatures imprisoned in Khyber are demon princes and archdevils such as Demogorgon and Asmodeus, the rakshasa rajahs possessing a similar level of power.

Has the rajahs ever been stat'd? Or are they one of those hand-wave away types of monsters (i.e., you see one, you get Deus Ex Machina'd)?

One of the Dragon magazines had an article on them and I think a few were stated in it.

Not in the non-magazine stuff though? OK. Thanks. Looks like I'll have to make something up when I get there...

None of the books have gone into the Demon Wastes except the campaign setting. Dragon has some great Eberron information in it. I'd seriously try to track it down if you can.

So I can give Demogorgon tiger fur then, and I have a Raja. Problem solved! :D

AFAIK, he doesn't even need fur - they're only called Rakshasa Rajahs, because they're the Rajahs/Overlords of the Rakshasas. Not because they're Rakshasas themselves!
