Not sure, but so far unlikely. Much like d20 Modern, I'd like to use maybe 30% of the book, but I expect to throw out 70% of it, and that doesn't encourage me to buy it.

Nope.

:) ;) :D :p  :] :heh:    :\ :uhoh: :o :(

I've got a nagging feeling it ain't gonna last long either.

I mean, look at the trend of previous WotC/TSR campaign worlds. They spring up and die all the time. The only one going strongly at the moment is FR.

Ravenloft and DL are being handled by other publishers. Greyhawk is only represented by the RPGA.

I don't think Eberron will last unless it becomes an amazing hit.

I'll pick it up eventually. I do like the looks of it, but I've heavily invested in the FR, have my own homebrew, and plenty of other books I don't use.

Best,
Nick

I may pick it up, though not when it first comes out. I won't be running an Eberron campaign, but I may use it for an idea mine and allow players to use stuff from it for my current Planescape campaign if they'd like. I've seen good things about it so far, so the least I can do it pick it up, look at it, and if I think I might use some of the stuff inside for ideas I'll pick it up.

I havn't actually bought a single WotC book all year. I have PGtF, but my players bought it for me for my birthday. Otherwise I won't be picking up much of anything (though I have the Planar Handbook preordered and I'm drooling for it to be released so I can get my little claws on it).

I plan on buying the core book, but I'm going to wait until the inevitable errata have been incorporated into the next print run.

I have absolutely no interest in this. I never really accepted the shift from Greyhawk to Forgotten Realms, so this "grandchild" world started with a mark against it already. Plus, I'm happy playing in the worlds of Midnight and Dragonstar and haven't go time for another one.

Even if it doesn't become a smash hit right off the bat, WotC is going to force-feed product to us until we like it.

Nope. Although I rarely get to game there, I'm a very strong Realms fan, and I refuse to support Ebberon out of fear it might supplant the Realms the way the Realms supplanted Greyhawk.
