He Means that Visualy they look a lot alike. I agree and that is a good thing in my opinion. Talislanta is a stunningly beautiful setting.Turjan said:Could you elaborate a bit on this? I really like Talislanta, but I'm not too keen yet on Eberron. Did I miss anything?
LOL The Batrian concubines and thier males. Great memory there. Thanks!enworldatemylogin said:Unfortunately, all I can remember from Talislanta is "No elves" and the race where the men are cave men and the women are hot svelte bikini models.
Hmm... 1998, the year of the 4th (500 pages long) edition, is not that long ago that production standards were that differentJoeGKushner said:Visually there are probably going to be some similiarities as Talislanta was cutting edge for its time.
Nail on the head. I still have those old books and love the art better than most of the stuff in the D20 books today.JoeGKushner said:Heck, whose talking 4th edition? I'm old school and enjoyed the author's work when he was doing that Bard's Game stuff with it's various Complete Lines (Alchemists, Adventuerer, Spellcaster). The art in his original Talislanta books was still top notch and gave my 1st AD&D players many nightmares as they wished to fight no more creatures from a certain Bestiary.
