[Eberron] What Lurks Below (IC)

The halfling barbarian charges through the tall grass, his sword kept low. He comes across his chosen enemy slightly to the side and lifts his greatsword in an upward arcing motion. The blade cuts undnearth the shifters left arm, producing an inch-wide and inches-deep gash. Blood sprays and the shifter looks down at the halfling that came from nowhere and has almost taken his life. He staggers backwards with a scream.
Another arrow arrives from the darkness to the north. Kennith tries to move himself to the side of the horse, but the archer is too good - or too lucky - of a shot. He hits Kennith in the leg, the arrow digging deep into his thigh.
ooc: P0L - wow! Thanks for the spectacular map! I'm posting positions after each post, so you can follow them from there.
Kort - Attack: 9(hit) for 10 damage now at S16
Kennith - hp 7/11
Does a color scheme sound good to you all? I like the idea, so ... pick your dialogue color! (I think Gedward already has one)
By the way, P0L, what kind of software did you use?

Hanging in there. Better than the alternative.
Dormon's eyes widen as he sees the combatant from the West drawing near. He grabs another arrow and fires it at him, hoping for the best and taking another step toward Jannis. "... Jannis? Are you okay? Did you help him, Gedward?" He then puts his bow on his back, to pull out his whip. "Things may turn worse before long."
Fires arrow at B6, 5' step to K14, put bow away. I think I have to pull out my whip next round.

The gnome pulls another arrow out from his quiver and sends it flying towards the approaching shifter, but the shot sails over its right shoulder. Dormon then takes a step back and deftly slides his shortbow back into its holder. His hand begins to move towards the whip at his side.
The ranger tries to focus at the approaching shifter, but the halfling's emergence from the right field caused him to make a fatal adjustment, and both his arrows miss slightly to the left. The shifter, after avoiding two potentially fatal shots, changes course and leaps at halfling. He digs a dagger deep into the side of the barbarian's stomach. The shifter who was nearly disembowled takes two frantic swings with his daggers at the halfling. One slice misses, but the second dagger leaves a deep gash across Kort's shoulder.
The shifter charging Tykri closes within a few feat and leaps forward through the wet night with a howl. His dagger slices across Tykri's chest, but her armor absorbs the entirity of the blow.
The shifter to the northwest continues his escape, dissappearing into the darkness and the rain.

Kennith's next thought was to disemboweled the shifter that had make mincemeat out of his dog. However, Kennith no going to let ANYBODY get away if he can help it. Seeing that a bandit are about to ran away, Kennith launch once more a mystical bolt towards the person.

"I've helped Jannis all I can right now," Gedward shouts quickly. He then says a quick prayer to Dol Arrah, asking to bolster his companion's bravery and skill in battle.
Gedward casts bless.
He then brings his shield out in front of him and takes a step toward the bandit ready to attack Tykri. "The Sovereign Host protects us, who protects you?" Gedward asks the bandit now standing before him.

Tykri jumps back as the shifter tries to slice her. Gedward steps forward between the two, shield at ready. The fur-clad warrior halts for a moment and staggers backwards a few steps, now unsure of how to proceed. Mud splashes up around his feet. His eyes are full of worry.
