ECL Calculator?

Hey guys while on the topic of ECL I was wondering if you could answer a question I have.

I am going to say sorry right now, because I did not look this up in the archive because this most likely has already been covered.

If I have a Drow Rogue. 3rd level (1st level rogue, 2 ECL level) Does he only role a d6 for hp, or does he have 3HD? Which would be 3d6 as a 3rd level character would.

Any help would be appreciated.

Zulkir, go to the link in Soldarin's signature right above you for the answers. I believe he would only have 1d6hp.

While that is correct, it is also potentially misleading. The character would only have 1d6 because a Drow is a 1 hd creature. If your ECL creature normally has more than 1 hd then you also get those hd as well.
