ECL of Paragon template?

What ecl does the Paragon Template get when you use one of those on line ecl calculators?

How about contacting whomever made it so we can include things like the funky HD thing?

The online calculator only works for races with across the board stat increases/penalites with some form of natural armor. If you make a hypothetical race that is only large or has +20 charisma it no longer yields a meaningful result.

ECL 16 is probably low. Depending on the base creature it can have a wide spectrum of power so defies calculation of a single ECL for the template so each paragon creature would have to be rated separately.

For the epic-cheese game a friend ran for a few games before it died of scheduling conflict, we used +14 for a paragon. I don't think anybody played one, though I toyed with a paragon human pre-errata bladed gauntlet tempest character (translation: Wolverine).

15 or 16 would probably be fair for paragon. I'd almost like to see a 1HD paragon in a 16-17 game, just to see how long they last. "I have...20 hp? Oh, man..."

The things that were really broken were the two divine rank-1 demigod Go'a'ulds. But the DM for that was on crack, giving them ECLs of only 24.
