...This would be easier to put into context if I had the FRPG already. (I'm sure someone will link the Character Creation download for LFR for us all, though.) OTOH, I already like the fluff! I'm particularly impressed at how non-FR-specific the article seems to be.

I'd prefer if they removed/obscured the references to Tharizdun, like in the PH.

I love the article! I was never really interested in Genasi in 3E at all. But I love the way 4e Genasi are turning out! I think they may become my favorite race (at least until we get more in PHB 2, maybe!)

Is it just me or could you use the feats in that article to become quite a powerful machine... Depending on whether or not you can take Extra Manifestation multiple times (waiting on the FRPG to see the fine print on that one).

But a Firesoul/ Stormsoul Genasi Swordmage (Wizard MC) with Fast Manifestation, Primordial Surge, Firepulse Mastery, Genasi Fire Affinity, Elemental Assault, focused around fire/ thunder powers is looking to be quite synergistic.

Primordial Surge seems to be a given as worded, especially for Stormsoul, Windsoul, and Watersoul Gensai whose powers will always work successfully.

But the Gensai are looking like one of the more interesting races right now.

Now we just need to see Ecology articles for the rest of the PHB races.

Right now Eladrin suffer from a glut of Paragon tier Racial feats and a derth of Heroic teir ones, all the other PHB races except Dragonborn have a similar problem.

I have to agree here. I'm playing an eladrin artificer and I love my fey step ability. I'd like to modify how it works, but I have to wait for the paragon tier. There should be some no brainer feats that allow you to teleport more squares, an extra time per encounter, etc.
