Ecology of the Minotaur: Manotaur and Others

Behemoth3 is thinking about republishing Masters and Minions 2: Maze of the Minotaur as the more sensibly-titled Ecology of the Minotaur, and expanding it to 96 pages with all kinds of new, 100% open content minotaury goodness. One thing I'd like to do as part of that is collect all the minotaur variants and related creatures that have appeared in the D&D/d20 literature, updating to 3.5 as necessary.

The one I just saw is the manotaur, which appears in a monstrous-compendium appendix of Greyhawk Ruins. Questions for the collective wisdom:

1) Was this monster likely created by the authors of this module, or did it appear elsewhere first?

2) Has it been converted or republished elsewhere?

3) Any memorable uses of a manotaur in anyone's campaign?

4) What other minotaur-like creatures would you like to see in Ecology of the Minotaur? (I'll go look through my old all-published-appearances thread & see what I can find there; a half-minotaur template is definitely on the list!)

World of Sulerin also lists it in Monstrous Compendium Annual 3 and Conan Unchained.

The Creature Collection series had several minotaur like creatures, the unitaur being one of them.

there is the actaeon from OD&D. :) and i think there was something called a gorgotaur, though the source escapes me at the moment...

Gorgotaur is apparently in Ultimate Monsters 1 and Monster Geographica Underground (which is probably why you remember it). ;)
