Ecology Of...

What about the Ecology of Beholder Abominations and stat up the unconverted ones from Spelljammer plus things like argos and those asteroid like beholder kin?

well, actually, we have already submitted a query regarding those creatures, just haven't heard back regarding that. but maybe, an Ecology of the Hive Mother might just be perfect...

How about the least known of the city building monsters of the underdark- cloakers. New varieties shouldn't be that hard to come up with- hatters, shoers, glovers ;)

Seriously though, I think they are the oddest thing to be creating cities- how do they build anything with their body design? Maybe some slaver caste has a moan that acts like the aboleth mind control power?

and his brother Crispin?

So maybe I can squeeze my beloved avari in an "Ecology of the Bat-Heads" article? ;)

nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah bat-heads!

cloaker's a possibility, but not that high on my list just yet. i think the Ecology of the Beholder Hive is much higher though... :)

Not sure about these: Thoul, Lizardfolk, Dragonkin, Aventi and Malenti. These are all creatures I'd love to see Ecology articles of. If any of them has already been done, can someone please point me in the appropriate direction? Thanks.

Lizardfolk were done fairly recently (the last year or two). Thoul would be off-limits since it hasn't had a 3E conversion yet (and since both the troll and hobgoblin have had 3E ecologies, the only place we might sneak it in is with the ghoul). The aventi are probably fair game, and the malenti would probably need to be part of a sahuagin ecology.

Well not by Wizards! Quite by coincidence I bought Dave Arneson's Blackmoor today (together with the Dungeons of Castle Blackmoor and a number of others things, but I digress...) and it has the thoul in. :) But it probably makes it off limits for now. :(

You know me, anything with the slightest hint of Mystara...

Regards
Mortis

All I know is that Paizo won't publish an ecology unless the subject creature already has 3E stats in a WotC publication. :heh:
