Ed Greenwood's Castlemourn. Anyone Have the Book?

The volume of art in the book is odd. There are places where there's art on every page, and then there are sections where many pages go by without any art. The last 29 or so pages of the book have no art.

The art itself varies in quality, but I didn't think any of it was poor.

I picked up the Player's Guide to Castlemourn last Gencon (MWP was selling it pretty cheap).

I don't think I've even seen the full book. To be honest - MWP has really poor distribution in Canada it seems - even getting DragonLance material from MWP in the FLGS seems a difficulty at times.

I'll see it at Gencon this year I guess.

Hi,

I enjoyed reading the free Player's Guide to Castlemourn, but since I don't need a campaign setting at the moment, the new book would have to be absolutely brilliant for me to buy it.

So, who's got it and thinks it's that good?

Cheers

Richard

I wouldn't call it brilliant, but I'm not sure any setting is brilliant. I like how ir redefines the races but keeps them close to what we know. Elves are all nature like and actually have a favored class that reflects that. Of course they glow and I'm not sure if there is a reason why they do.

Greenwood did a very good job on it and if you like his stuff I imagine you will like this. It is very adventure oriented.
