I had no idea ENWorld was going to receive that massive influx of donations somewhow...... *phew* I posted this morning when I noticed Morrus' post regarding ENWorld's debt, and had not idea that in less than a full day, the whole thing would be averted....... *cheers*

For those of you who haven't been reading other forums at EN-World, here's a link to the post by Morrus: http://www.enworld.org/forums/announcement.php?f=2 . Apparently, he can't afford to pay the server costs and En-World will be taken off-line until he can pay Cyberstreet for the past three months due. So take heed and plan accordingly..... The forums will probably be back up at some point, but Morrus has not indicated any ideas yet on how soon that'll be.

Sorry for intruding here without being a part of this, but everyone should know that, barring extremely unforseen circumstances, EN World should be already saved.

Due to a massive effort the last "official" count of collected donations stood at roughly 11,600$.

No need for anyone to get alarmed

I was too when I saw it...

1) Morrus raised over $12,000 in 12 hours from donations from the EN World community. EN World isn't going anywhere.

2) I saved all the important data as of this morning at least, in case we needed to relocate (which we won't anymore).

3) I set up but have not implemented forums at www.the13kingdoms.org - just in case. Built right in, if I ever have to activate them.

So, while my family at $10 remaining in the bank prevent me sadly from donating to EN World, we at least don't have to worry about this wonderful community going anywhere

I am very relieved to see this tonight. My first knowledge of the problem came this morning. Between that and our other site problem I was really getting negative on the internet today....
