editing PDF's (adding text)

I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 (not just Reader). Is there anyway to edit pdf's with this? What I really want to do is add text to blank character sheets. Is this possible with Acrobat or do I need InDesign?

I am able to do this with ACrobat 5.0.

In my version there is a "Touch Up tool" that allows you to edit/add text. It's a button with an outline of a T

There is a way to create forms using adobe acrobat, I've done a few myself. It would be difficult to explain the process here but you can find books on how to create forms using acrobat. Or you could just go to rpgsheets.com and see if someone already created one for the game you want to play.
