People do not complain when things are done well.

Aw come on Mournblade, people complained about the Lord of the Rings movies, and those won the friggen oscar for best picture, for a set of fantasy films!

People will complain about anything, no matter how well it is done. Particularly if that thing is a change. Some people dislike any change.

My read of the poll so far (535 respondents):

1) Edition bias plays a significant role in whether or not you think 4e sales are relatively good or not. If you like 4e, you almost always (90%+) think it is selling well. If you are neutral or dislike 4e, you're likely to be 50-50 on whether or not you think it is selling relatively well.

2) Edition Bias influence on response to suspected sales holds fairly well, even for neutral and negative views of 4e. That is to say, if you are neutral, you are more likely to suspect 4e is selling well than those who dislike 4e, and those who dislike 4e are the most likely to respond that they think 4e sales are relatively not good.

3) An overwhelming majority of people responding to the poll (roughly 71%) think 4e is selling relatively well, including almost all (90%+) people who like 4e, and a majority (about 53%) of people who are neutral towards 4e.

4) Most respondents (97%+) have an opinion that fall sufficiently into the choices given.
