If, as I presume, you made this, did you use a special program?
Ditto. What do you use for a flow chart generator?
I drew the chart in AutoCAD. It's pretty much the only vector graphics program worth using, ever.

Whatever it is he used, it was the wrong version.
Har har.

Nice, but it needs revision. :) Posters on ENWorld have never (so far as I know) been banned for edition warring — but several dozen have openly flamed out, proclaimed loudly their intention never to return, lambasted the site elsewhere. . . and then been caught posting or lurking here a few weeks or months later.
You are absolutely right...usually they just get a week's vacation from the board (or at least, they used to.) And I totally forgot about the "flame out" war tactic. That should go on both sides of the chart, right after the "Thread gets locked" box. That's usually when it happens.

Oh well. If I have learned one thing from reading all of the edition war threads, it is this: it is impossible to create a flow chart that will appeal to all edition war fans, so I'm not going to try. True edition war fans will houserule it in if they need it.

You forgot the random interrupt where diaglo pops in and says OD&D(1974) is the only true game; though I'm not sure how random interrupts would appear on a flowchart. :)

That would be an independant chart within the main chart with a decision loop and the only action is the diaglo interrupt.

it would have no connection to anything on the main chart.

I think my favorite part is the "Did you win?" / "The moderators won't let me" options. In every edition war, someone inevitably blames the moderators for not letting them "win" an argument on the Internet.

Heh. If there's one universal rule here, it's that when someone is banned, the reason they claim they were banned does not relate even vaguely to the actual reason they were banned. You get used to it. :)

Interestingly, in all the folks who have been banned from EN World over the years, not one of them are at fault! It being inconceivable, of course, that they be in the wrong, the only possible reason for their banning must be because the mods "didn't like their opinion" or have a conspiratorial bias. The very possibility that they may have been being - for want of a better word - a jackass is utterly impossible.
