The paladin that was raised IMC was very upset at dying, specially since it was at the hands of another party member. She was charmed, the fighter kept fighting the "charmer", killed his pet, they started fighting, he ended up taking her out with one hit (she was hurtin'). So her relationship with the party fighter was pretty strained after the fact.
However, while she was dead, she "felt the presence" of her deity much more closely than she ever had alive, and it was something of an epiphiny for her. She followed her code much more rigidly afterwords (and she was pretty regid to begin with). It also helped her keep a hold of her humanity for much longer than she might have when she was killed once more and rose as a vampire. But that's another story...
