In 3e, I run across rules that will cause a person to be shaken, panicked, dazed, etc etc, but it doesn't list a duration for how long the effect lasts.
For example, in Heroes of Horror, on page 66, an evil taint effect called Jittery says that a person will become panicked if hit while flat-footed. But no duration is given.
In situations like this, are we to assume that it is for only one round or what?
