Egyptian Adventuers use?

So what did you think of... the new Relics & Rituals books, Dark Legacies and Nyambe? They follow a pretty similiar patten in terms of bringing over standards to a new setting.

I'll answer that for a bump, and as I indicated above I felt similar to the way EN posted.

Nyambe was great, but it was also the first of this type of thing ( semi-historical/region based games ) for 3.X

I like Dark Legacies for it's post war grittiness, variant races like half-demon hybrids, and it's more futaristic feel that seem to me a cross between Iron Kingdoms and Warhammer 40K.

I skipped the Last 2 Relics and Rituals books, as the concepts just don't appeal to me ( Ancient Greek and King Arthur themes, right? )

I'm sure sticking as close to the PHB races as possible is probably a better recipe for commerical sucess, I'm just attracted to "different", and new races would have been cooler IMO. The setting desperately needs an adventure to show people a greater vsion of the settings intentions and possibilities too.
