Eldritch Disciple Prc w/ cleric variants.

Kyros Pyralis

First Post
I am making one last attempt at playing a Warlock that does something useful. I plan to play Cleric 3/Warlock 3/Eldritch Disciple X.

My questions are:
Are there any Cleric variants that give bonuses while restricting you to light armor other than Cloistered Cleric?

Is there a Cleric-like class, aside from Favored Soul, that uses charisma as its spellcasting stat or a variant Cleric that uses charisma?

Is there a way to give the Favored Soul the turn/rebuke ability?

I would like to used WotC books, without homebrew classes/feats, since this will limit the amount of imbalance that may be created by player-made material.

Sources: Warlock - Complete Arcane; Eldritch Disciple - Complete Mage; Favored Soul - Complete Divine; Cloistered Cleric - Unearthed Arcana.

Thank you for any help or suggestions that may be offered.

You don't need more than 1 Warlock level to qualify for ED.

A Binder1/Warlock4/Ur Priest2/ED1/Hellfire Warlock3/ED9 works as well.

Favored Souls can get Turn Undead attempts through Sacred Exorcist.

You don't need high Charisma as a Warlock since you can focus on invocations which do not allow for saves.

Ah, I confused the requirements for ED with that of Eldritch Theurge, which results in a requirement of level 3 Warlock.

And I was thinking of high charisma to make use of the abilities that allow expenditure of turn undead, but I can just take Extra Turning for that.

While I can see Binder being a useful class, what does just 1 level of it do for you? Is there a specific vestige that is meant to be used?
Also, a requirement of ED is worshipping a diety, although Ur-Priests cast divine spells, they don't worship dieties as a feature of the class. although, that's more RP than anything.

Binder lets you heal the Con damage form Hellfire Warlock, plus it boosts your saves to qualify for Ur Priest.

The Ur Priest adaptation section specifically mentions that you can adapt it to worship a dead god. Perhaps you are trying to bring it back to life from the Far Realm where dead gods and vestiges come from? Sounds like an excellent roleplaying opportunity.
