Electricity Damage In Real World Terms

Ugh, these are the kinds of conversations I hate in relation to D&D.

Especially, when they're brought out at the table. This s&%$t can grind a session to a halt faster than.... well, greased lightning.

Nothing against the OP though, I completely understand it's my prerogative to simply not reply or take part in. Just had to get that off my chest.

D20 Modern has rules on electrical damage. For a regular shock, it's 4d6 damage (Fort DC 15 half). For something powerful, like a lightning strike, or the third rail, it's 8d6 damage (Fort DC 20 half). I don't know where an electrical fence falls in.

electrical fences vary from 10,000 to as much as 80,000 fo a varieing effect of a nasty shock followed by cursing to death of even the most hearty person. they all use a rather small amount of current as the voltage overcomes the body's resistance to get to the soft, moist and tender innards.
