This was in Iku Rex's sig. Deirdre would be an awesome "colloquial" name for a longer, elven-sounding one. Just tack on some extra syllables (near the middle and back, maybe) and you're golden.

Here's a few ideas:

The Banshee of Keening is named Tristessa. The name means sorrow.

Melancholy -> Milanca Lia?

"Tsalar" is the Qualinesti root for death. Tsala or Tsalara could work.

Lalaerme St. Finn -> "Les larmes sans fin" -> "unending tears"
