[ELH] Improved Ki Strike vs. Damage Penetration

So what self-respecting Monk would take Improved Ki Strike instead of Damage Penetration? Damage Penetration grants +2 with everything, and has no prerequisites. Improved Ki Strike only gives +1, only with fists, and has a few prerequsites (easy ones sure but ...)

Any ideas?

You take Pentrate DR first, and then Improved Ki strike if you need more. Pentrate DR can only be taken once, Improved Ki Stike can be taken as often as needed.

It should be noted though that Improved Ki Strike is on the Monk bonus Epic feat list, and Pentrate DR is not.

It's ok. It's gonna happen a lot for quite a while. So many people preached that this book was gonna be crap, that they're now rushing their reading to find stuff that's broken, only to find themselves tripping over their own feet in the process.

Besides, it's a new book.
