ELH Multiclass Feat Question

kreynolds said:

Right...but that passage refers you to Table 1-2...and Table 1-2 deals with feats gained because of character level...weird.

After the reference to table 1-2, which does indeed refer to feats gained via character levels, it goes on to discuss feats gained via class levels.

And this is, of course, all in the section dealing with epic multiclassing... to requote...

"When you have to choose from a list of bonus feats in your second class, you can also choose from the bonus epic feats described for each specific class below."

That passage looks strangely familiar... ;)

Guys: The Sage ruled on this. Very simply: bonus feats gained as the class level benefits of non-epic levels in a class may not be used to acquire epic feats. Thus, bonus feats from fighter class levels 1,2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18, and 20, bonus feats from wizard class levels 5,10,15, and 20, and any analogous feats cannot be used for epic feats.

Thus, a Ftr10/Wpn10 who puts epic levels into any class except weaponmaster gains epic feats only from advancing in character level (21, 24, 27, 30, etc.). Advancing beyond 10th level in the weaponmaster class, however, may grant the character bonus epic feats. An epic weaponmaster progression is easy to work out: ki damage 1/day/class level, and increased multiplier 1/day per 2 levels after 10th (6/day at 12th, 7/day at 14th, etc.). I'd probably give the class 1 bonus epic feat per 3 levels after 20th (23rd, 26th, 29th, etc.), with a bonus feat list similar to that for the epic fighter.
