Embarrassing moments in gaming history

I had a character (F14/A7 1e) that, when she announced her full name and title, would get a lightning bolt to come down and strike her in a most impressive and noisy fashion. Her name was Lady Rowena Iceheart noh Toranaga Avatar Polucheck, the Eternal Champion of Law! Yeah, it was not a sane campaign but it was hella-fun!

Well, one time the party was sneaking up on a villian's castle... Rowena used her sword to fly ahead and she ... announced herself. *kzap*! This alerted the entire place to her presence and they promptly waited until she flew inside the castle and then snuck out and ambushed the rest of the party. The villians felt they had a better chance against the rest of the party than taking on Rowena by herself. That was kind of a back-handed compliment but she spent the whole fight wandering around the castle and the only damage Rowena did was to another PC who took the opportunity to try to escape from the dungeon.

Oh, the villains were almost right but not quite. One of the rest of the party was still up when Rowena and the escaping PC got outside. All the villians were dead or unconscious.

It was good.

We play online. Something we bring up to the DM every once and a while is that once, while typing out the various bonuses one character got, he said the character had "+4 for porn." (It was supposed to be "prone".)

I'd give a +4 for porn. Depending on the type, that is.

A party I was once running through an armature-produced 1e module (photocopied and passed out for free at a small local con) found a chest containing "300 EXP". I assume this was meant to be electrum pieces, but I just used it as published, so various party members ended up carrying around some extra experience in their backpacks. It got passed around as needed, but I don't think it ever did anyone much good. How often are you within 300 EXP of leveling?

During our RttToEE campaign a destrachan attacked the party. I showed the party a picture of it out of the MM once they saw the creature. On the cleric's initiative he casts blindness on the destrachan. The others in the group just stare at him with these blank looks on their faces. When the cleric notices their looks he says "What?" and they all respond "It has no eyes!". The cleric responded with "How was I supposed to know that?" to which one of the fighters replied "It has no eyes in the picture!".
