I've read Elements of Magic, and I like how it handles many of the seeds that it has (though some of the bonuses get a bit high for my taste if you pay enough MP), but I would never use it as my only magic system due to the lack of ability to cast quirky spells that don't fit with any of the given spell seeds (which are often my favourite spells).
